‘Miss Tamang Nepal's a regular beauty pageant being organized since 2006 for all interested Tamang females to unveil their hidden talent. In 2006, JenishaMoktan won the title, and further won the title ‘Miss Nepal-2009. Even she participated in miss World-2010’ representing Nepal. This competition is different from other beauty pageants or competitions. The difference is in the sense that the contest will be completed in four different episodes in the duration of one month. The talents of the contestants are shown in those four episodes from a popular national Television channel.
• First Episode: Introduction Round,
• Second Episode: Cat Walk, Best Dress
• Third Episode: Talent Round
• Fourth Episode: Grand Finale
In all four episodes (rounds), the contestants perform their best and request for the voting. The votes are counted in a total of four rounds. Based on the number of votes they have received; 15 contestants are selected for the grand finale. Due to the voting system of the program and live on Television, the program is watched by millions of people in Nepal and around the globe on Television and other social networks. In the coming seasons, as a distinct and important feature of the program, a committee of 15 guardians (of 15 contestants)will be formed and they will directly observe the program from the beginning for the 15 finalists. As a result, there will be no chance of biases, sexual harassment, irregularities, corruption, and clashes in selecting the winner. Sadhana Kala Kendra(SKK) proudly confirms that, in our country Nepal as well as in the world, such kind of system cannot be found in any other types of beauty pageants or competitions.
